For the Rally Festival that might have been. Rally 2009 has been cancelled  for lack of support.Whatever it is about this year 2009, Government (Lack of) Banks, Developers, etc there is an awful air of apathy and lethargy. People are not travelling abroad, People are not doing anything. A few hardy souls yes  but the majority no. We have had to Cancel our national event due to insufficient support.

Details of why has been sent to those members that supported the event. Its impossible to run anything in this country on Maybe's or promises. There's no point in saying, I meant to go, or I had planned to go,organizers have to be able to plan ahead. What doesn't make sense to us,some People will pay €200 a year in advance for a ticket to a concert to see some epixilated auld hen prancing about a stage for maybe an hour ,and then the very  same people  will complain about booking a few months ahead to support an event that gives them 3-4 days of fun for a fraction of that cost. Anyway folks better to cancel than have a flop ,if you want to know why, look in the mirror and ask yourself .

Have the begrudgers won?.  We will try again in 2010.
