WHAT YOU MUST DO TO USE THE MOTORCARAVAN CLUB INSURANCE SCHEME

You must be a fully paid up member of the Motorcaravan Club Ireland. From the beginning of the 2003: |
This insurance cannot be used under any circumstances for commercial purposes, i.e. carrying of musical equipment for use by musicians for reward or gain, (no paid gigs), Carrying an employers equipment which could be deemed to be trading. The Insured may not “live full time” in the Motorcaravan. The Motorcaravan must only be used for recreational purposes. The Insurance covers members to only carry their own private property, as well as recreational equipment such as surf boards, canoes, scuba or diving gear, mountaineering and hill walking equipment and bicycles, with the foregoing conditions. Trailers: You can tow a trailer for leisure purposes and for general domestic duties. The trailer will be covered for public liability when disconnected from the campervan. The Insurance does not cover the towing of horse boxes. This means you may tow a trailer to carry a boat, motor cycle, car, tent and camping equipment and general household equipment.
